Treatment Treatment of HIV/AIDS follows a complex aim: to reduce a virus quantity in the organism, hold in the virus replication (reproduction), to save or restore immune functions and prevent or treat the opportunistic infections, emerging against the background of the immunodeficiency. Anti retrovirus medicines are not in condition for today to cure HIV completely, but in many cases anti retrovirus treatment prevent the AIDS development or serious concomitant disease, such as tuberculosis and cancer.
